CSR REPORT Statutory Report on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the Gender Composition of the Board and Management pursuant to Sections 99 a and b of the Danish Financial Statements Act, and Statutory Report on Data Ethics pursuant to Section 99 d of the same Act. The present report is part of Management’s Review in the HOLMRIS B8 A/S Annual Report and thus covers the period May 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022. BUSINESS & CSR HOLMRIS B8 is one of Northern Europe’s leading companies in the sale of corporate furnishings and interior design solutions. Our business spans four segments: Office, Care, Hospitality and Learning. We aspire to be leaders in the sustainable transition of the furniture industry. Accordingly, sustainabil- ity and circular business processes as they relate to environment, climate and social conditions are core mechanisms in our business model. At HOLMRIS B8 our activities are informed by our Shared Value Creation strategy, which reflects our awareness of the link between our success as a business and the benefits to the wider community. This is why we are not only working to improve our own business, but also to spread the word and inspire and motivate our customers, business partners and society generally. We do this both by of- fering a take-back solution for new furniture purchased by our customers and through partnerships on furniture re-use projects and large-scale tree-planting programs. We have devised a business model that allows our customers to dispose of their surplus furniture re- sponsibly when they purchase new furnishings and fittings from us. We process these retired items through concepts where we resell or give away furniture to other businesses or members of our donation network, which consists of schools, institutions, associations and NGOs, and for items that cannot be reused, we have a program for processing their constituent materials for incorporation in new products. In this way, our aim is always to minimize our waste volumes and thereby negative climate and environmental impacts. We also offer two technologies: Workplace Management and Interior Management System. The first of these generates data on occupant behaviors to enable optimized furnishing of premises. The In- terior Management System provides a comprehensive inventory of all furniture at a given organiza- tion’s sites. Both technologies help our customers to cut back on their consumption in terms of new furniture purchases, facility cleaning and use of floorspace. We are enhancing our system technol - ogies on an ongoing basis to include both new and reused furnishing and interior design solutions. 4
